Vivian Demarcy Breaux

October 3, 1935 — December 20, 2010

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Vivian Jeanne DeMarcy Breaux, 75, who died Monday, December 20, 2010 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Scott DesOrmeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Bennett Breaux; one son, Bryant James Breaux and his wife, Mary; two grandchildren, Kacie Breaux and Brandon Breaux; three brothers, Sidney Elliott DeMarcy, Ray Allen DeMarcy and his wife, Earline and L. Carroll DeMarcy and his wife, Marilyn; and four sisters, Marylin D. Morvant and her husband, Ray, Goldie Hebert and her husband, James Mahlen, Eleanor Dartez and Gloria Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney DeMarcy and the former Lucille Sorbet; brother, James Hartwell DeMarcy; and sister, Helen Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
