Michael "Mike" Gary Trahan

March 31, 1961 — December 28, 2010

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Michael "Mike" Gary Trahan, 49, who died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Pastor Donnie Crane officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Rougeau, Fabian Rougeau, Larry Leger, Christopher Trahan, Rickey Trahan and Jacob Perry.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Cormier Trahan of Kaplan; one son, Derrick Cormier of Kaplan; two daughters, Jamie Cormier of Lafayette and Katie Cormier of Kaplan; one brother, Ted Trahan of Kaplan; three sisters, Susan Broussard of Abbeville, Roxanne Trahan of Kaplan and Melissa Trahan of Kaplan; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Meaux; his father, Ambrose Trahan Jr.; brother, Kenneth Trahan; sister, Lisa Trahan; and nephew, Corey Trahan.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Rougeau, Fabian Rougeau, Larry Leger, Christopher Trahan, Rickey Trahan, and Jacob Perry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from from 8:30 am until the time of services.
