Lenix Duhon Jr

February 24, 1939 — March 24, 2007

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00p.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, at St. Theresa Catholic Church for Lenix Duhon Jr., 68 of Abbeville, who died Saturday, March 24, 2007, at his residence.
Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum. Fr. Kenneth Mayne will celebrate the funeral Mass and conduct the graveside services.
Mr. Duhon, a loving father and grandfather is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nunia Abshire Duhon of Abbeville; three sons, Ray Duhon Sr. and his wife Titinia of Abbeville; Rickey Duhon of Abbeville; Chad Duhon and his wife Stephanie of Lafayette; two daughters, Tammy Thompson and her husband David of Abbeville; and Liberty Duhon of Abbeville; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Duhon was preceded in death by his parents, Lenix Duhon and the former Elise Viator; and one brother Eusebe Duhon.
Visitation will be held at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles St. in Abbeville on Sunday March 25, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; and on Monday March 26, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
