Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Vincent Funeral Home honoring the life of Lawrence"Gee Gee" Milliman, 70, who died March 27, 2007 at Medical Center of Southwest Louisiana. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Richard officiating the services. Lawrence will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Strange Milliman; one son, Lawrence Milliman, Jr. of Abbeville; two daughters, Karen Renee' Marceaux of Abbeville and Sheila Gayle Faulk and her husband Scott of Mandeville; one brother, J.C. Milliman of Abbeville; three grandchildren, Taryn Jenee' Marceaux, Laney Noel Marceaux and Ellen Angelle Faulk; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Onezie Milliman and the former Celima Cormier; two brothers, Harry Milliman and Douglas Milliman; and four sisters, Lovinia Menard, Lillian O'Bryan, Florence Dietz and Beverly Carriere. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Wednesday, March 28th from 2:30 until 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, March 29th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
