Eunice Marie Morvant Vincent

June 12, 1920 — January 9, 2011

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Eunice Marie Morvant Vincent, 90, who died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

Eunice was known best by her love for dancing and her wonderful sewing skills.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanita Vincent of Abbeville; three brothers, Mayo Morvant of Erath, Willis Morvant of Erath and Elson Morvant of Duson; one sister, Erita Delahoussaye; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mayo Trahan; second husband, Denward Vincent; parents, Rene and Clemence Reaux Morvant; three children, Velta Trahan, Therese Trahan and Nelson Trahan; one brother, Leo Morvant; two sisters, Marie Dore' and Effie Dore'; and three grandchildren.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 8:00a.m. until time of services.
