Eve Suire Touchet

September 18, 1925 — January 11, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Eve Suire Touchet, 85, who died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at her residence in Kaplan. She will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by five sons, Linus Touchet of Forked Island; Minus Touchet and his wife, Cathy of Kaplan, Mark Touchet and his wife, Rita of Kaplan, Peter Touchet and his wife, Shannon of Morse and Paul Touchet and his wife, Sue of Maurice; one daughter, Jane Greene and her husband, Wade of Kaplan; one sister, Mary Bufford of Cow Island; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hypolite Touchet; one daughter, Rose Touchet; two sons, Thomas and John Touchet; her parents, Elodias Suire and the former Azelie Marie Schexnider; and one brother, Paul Suire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 2 p.m. continuing until Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. when the procession departs for the church.
