Evia Hardy

June 23, 1919 — January 10, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Evia Hardy, 91, who died Monday, January 10, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Mr. Alan Laguna officiating the services.

She is survived by one daughter, Jacquie Laguna and her husband, Randy of Montz; three grandchildren, Chad Saltzman of Terrytown, Lynnell Saltzman Taylor of Belle Chasse and James Mire of Kenner; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clerphe Hardy and the former Edolie Breaux; husband, Ellis Mire; and fourteen brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 9 a.m. until services.
