Addison "Pop" Suire Sr.

August 3, 1943 — January 12, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Addison "Pop" Suire Sr., 67, who died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Lognion, Kent Broussard, Colby Broussard, Joseph Suire, Glenn Touchet and Quinton Cormier.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Suire; three sons, Addison Suire Jr. and his wife, Racheal of Jennings, Laurence Suire and his wife, Susan of Vinton, and Ronnie Suire and his wife, Becky of Prairieville; three daughters, Tammy Cormier and her husband, Douglas of McAllen, TX, Ann Broussard and her husband, Kent of Lake Arthur, and Amanda Lognion and her husband, Rusty of Hayes; as well as fifteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Laurent Suire and the former Edolia Duhon; two brothers, John Swire and Eldridge Swire; and one infant daughter.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m.; Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 8 a.m. until time of services.
