Louise Mary Toups Winch

October 18, 1924 — January 13, 2011

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2011 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Louise Mary Toups Winch, 86, who died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.

She is survived by two daughters, Rachel Frederick and her husband Greg and Sheila Winch all of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Ryan Bourque and his fiancee, Jennifer Marks of Abbeville, Courtney Guidry and her husband, Justin of Abbeville, Danny Winch of Leroy and Sara Winch of Leroy; one brother, Douglas Toups of Lafayette; and one sister, Connie Richard and her husband, Lin of Sugarland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Alton Winch; one son, Lance Winch; and parents, Edier Toups and the former Althea Provost.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Friday, January 14, 2011 from 8:00 until 12:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
