Glenna Meaux Benoit

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 3, 2011 at a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Helen Glenna Meaux Benoit, 87, who died Monday, January 31, 2011 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Cossinade Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by two godchildren, Earl "Pudgy" Turnage Jr. and his wife, Sheryl of Kaplan and Amanda Dartez Hebert and her husband, Doug of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Meaux and the former Olive Simon; her first husband, Gene Faulk; and her second husband, Eli Benoit.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m; Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
