Retired Chief Master Sgt. Stanley Wright. 58, of Biloxi, MS. died Wednesday April 4 at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, AL; after an illness. A native of Abbeville, LA. resided in Biloxi, MS for 18 years. He served his country for 31 years in the United States Air Force. In his illustrious career he received several accolades and accommodations.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 14 at 12:00 pm at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Abbeville, LA. Reverend Harold Leo Keyes and Reverend Michael Wright will officiate the funeral. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. that morning at Vincent Funeral Home in Abbeville, LA. Burial will be held at the Biloxi National Cemetery located at 400 Veterans Ave., Biloxi, MS on Monday April 16 at 2:30 p.m.
Survivors include: wife of 35 years, Linda Gail Keys of Abbeville, LA; mother Irma Wright-Simpson of Pacoima. CA; 2 sons Stanley J. Wright Jr. of Abbeville , LA and Kenny J. Wright of Austin, TX; 3 sisters Sheryl Simpson-Rucker of Colorado Spring, CO, Phyllis Francis of Abbeville, LA, and Gayle Wilcher of Los Angeles. CA; 1 brother Reginald Harris of Abbeville, LA; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of
other relatives and friends.
