Kaplan—Funeral services officiated by Deacon David Vaughn will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Irene Adams Cormier, 91, who died Monday, February 7, 2011 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Wilson Cemetery Garden of Pine in Covington.

She is survived by one sister, Eunice Adams Sonnier of Metairie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ozaire Cormier; parents, Charles and Ematile Adams; sister, Ida Marcantel; brothers, Homer and Harry Adams; and one infant brother, Leroy Adams.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until services at 10:30 a.m. A rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m.
