Jared Meaux

December 30, 1942 — February 11, 2011

Kaplan—Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. honoring the life of Jared Meaux, 68, who died Friday, February 11, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services.

He is survived by one son, T-Jared Meaux and his wife, Kelli of Canton, GA; one stepson, Wayne Adams of Alabama; one stepdaughter, Candy Adams of Alabama; two daughters, Natasha and her husband, Aaron Lavergne of Crowley and Cassi Meaux of Kaplan; his mother, Lannie Marceaux of Kaplan; his godchild, Carlene Clostio Landry of Kaplan; six grandchilden; four brothers,
Alcide J. Meaux of Kaplan, Ellic J. Meaux Jr. of Bridge City, Texas, Anthony H. "Tony" Meaux of Kaplan and Francis G. Meaux of Maurice; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellic Joseph Meaux Sr.; and three sisters, Betty Ann Joyce Meaux, Lou Ann Meaux and Earlene Meaux.
