Claude "Gusto" Lemaire
July 3, 1936 — February 23, 2011
He is survived by two children, Walter Jude LeMaire of Sunset and Beatrice LeMaire of Kaplan; and two sisters, Jeanette Bernard and Ruby Guidry, both of Kaplan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Percy LeMaire of Kaplan and his mother, Orta Simon of Kaplan.
Mr. LeMaire was of service to the oilfields and the gulf waters and his country as a sergeant (E5) XIX Company B for the US Army. He was best known in the community as a welder and ran his business for twenty plus years.
The family appreciates all those who entered into Mr. LeMaire's life and would like to thank all those who assisted with his wellbeing.
A private burial will be celebrated at St. David Cemetery.
