Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 24, 2007 at Vincent Funeral Home for Elaine C. Reed, 88, who passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Abbeville General Hospital.
Interment will be in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
Mrs. Reed was a native of Texas and a resident of Abbeville. Survivors include a daughter, Elaine and her husband Charles Dill, Jr. of Abbeville; a sister, Sue Carney of Abilene, TX; three grandchildren, Christine Bass, Shannon and Jonathan Dill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Reed; parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.G. Carney of Haskel, TX.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home 209 S. St. Charles, Abbeville Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Acadiana or Mt. Carmel Elementary.
