Rita Begnaud Broussard

December 22, 1920 — February 25, 2011

Abbeville—Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Rita Begnaud Broussard, 90, who died Friday, February 25, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Wilfred Lee Broussard of Abbeville and Jeff Joseph Broussard of Austin, TX; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Theophile Begnaud; mother, Pearl Mouton Begnaud; husband, Murphy J. Broussard; sons, Gerald J. Broussard and Mark M. Broussard; sisters, Camay Greeno, Regina Arceneaux and Georgine Provost; brothers, Raoul, John, Martin, George, Mayo, Theophile, Jr. and Henry Begnaud.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
