Alice S. Hebert

November 11, 1919 — February 28, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Alice Simon Hebert, 91, who died Monday, February 28, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Cossinade Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Dalton J. Hebert of Kaplan; one son-in-law, Shelvin Stutes of Kaplan; three sisters, Millie Comeaux of Crowley, Mazel Armentor of Lafayette and Dorothy Hannon of Lake Charles; two grandchildren, Randall Stutes of Kaplan and Michelle Puckett of Scott; and three great grandchildren, Alyssa Stutes of Kaplan, Rana Stutes of Kaplan and Brandon LaBorde of Scott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pervest Hebert; her daughter, Ethel H. Stutes; one son, Darrel Glenn Hebert; and her parents, Duneville Simon and the former Elita Plaisance.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, March 2, from 8 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
