Abbeville-Ruth Yates Gary, 62, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Gary of Abbeville; two sons, Robert Kilpatrick of Abbeville and Jeff Yates of Hope, AR; daughter, Jennifer Stiles of Abbeville; three brothers, Clarence, Ronnir Dale and Billy Joe Yates all of Emerson, AR; three sisters, Imogene Yates of Emerson, AR, Lucy Yates of Abbeville and Margaret Greene of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Red Osborn Yates and Ima Pearl Daniels; son Steven Yates; and brother, David Lee Yates.
