Kenneth James Broussard

February 26, 1941 — March 10, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Kenneth James Broussard, 70, who died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Abbeville with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Harrington, Chris Harrington, Jerome Meaux, Dwayen Broussard, Barton Broussard and Mark Broussard.

He is survived by four sons, Keith James Broussard of Kaplan, Brian Lee Broussard and his wife, Deyshia of Meaux, Jared Claude Broussard and his wife, Sheila of Kaplan and Robert Singer and his wife, Lisa of Kaplan; two brothers, Alvin F. Broussard and his wife, Winnie and Pressley Jules Broussard and his wife, Anna Belle, all of Kaplan; three sisters, Ella Mae Harrington of Meaux, Delta Broussard Touchet of Abbeville and Jannell Broussard Meaux and her husband, Dunice Lee Meaux of Kaplan; one sister-in-law, Verna H. Broussard of Kaplan; thirteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Effie Broussard; three brothers, Lolan, Pervis and Dunice Broussard; one sister, Rosa B. Hartman; three brothers-in-law, Paul Harrington, Linus Touchet and Elwood Hartman; and one sister-in-law, Irene M. Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 8 a.m. until the services. A rosary will be prayed at 12 p.m.
