Marguerite Campbell

October 23, 1932 — March 12, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2011 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Marguerite "Sister" Campbell, 78, who died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Braxton Cessac, Brandon Campbell, Curtis Campbell, Brady Price, Jacob Conner and Jerrid Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Conner, Roland LaFleur, Lovelace Campbell Jr., Jose Gutierrez and Jason Gaspard.

She is survived by two sons, Roland James LaFleur and his wife, Judy of Kaplan and Lovelace "Jo-Jo" Campbell Jr. and his wife, Dianna of Cow Island; two daughters, Bonnie and her husband, Jose Gutierrez of Cow Island and Lilly Campbell of Abbeville; nine grandchildren, Christal Conner, Karen Price, Kayla Cawyer, Shori White, Jarrid Johnson, Curtis Campbell, Brandon Campbell, Kayla Redmond and Braxton Cessac; and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Harrington and the former Bonita Greene; and her husband, Lovelace Joseph "T-Black" Campbell Sr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, March 14, 2011 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
