Rosa Belle Lemaire

September 19, 1917 — March 14, 2011

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Rosa Belle LeMaire, 93, who died Monday, March 14, 2011 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Jason Vidrine officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Donald Primeaux and his wife, Gale of Kentucky; one daughter, Mary Ann Smith and her husband, L.C. Smith of Gueydan; two sisters, Hazel Williams of Gueydan and Ella Mae Elder of Lockport; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Honora LeMaire and the former Choliste Bourque; and one daughter, Nora Lea Olson.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, March 16, from 8 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
