Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Genevieve Boudreaux, 69, who died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Heritage Manor of Abbeville.

She will be laid to rest at LeBlanc Community Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Norris Istre, Rickey J. Menard, Sr., Barry J. Menard, Pierre Murphy Suire, Ashley Sonnier and Anna Sonnier. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilfred A. Sonnier and Donald Suire, Sr.

She is survived by two brothers, Joseph Boudreaux and Jean Onezime Boudreaux both of Abbeville; and four sisters, Marie Suire, Beverly Frederick, Delores Boudreaux and Theresa Sonnier all of Abbeville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred Boudreaux and the former Marie Elisa Istre; brother, Cyprien Boudreaux; sister, Eveleen Rodrigue; and half sister, Louise Desormeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
