Warren Hugh Dartez

January 29, 1925 — April 4, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011 at a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Warren Hugh Dartez, 86, who died Monday, April 4, 2011 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark LeDoux officiating the services.

Mr. Dartez was the owner of Dartez Repair Shop for over 50 years. He was a United States Air Force veteran who served during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Benoit Dartez; his parents, Clarence Dartez Sr. and the former Anastasie Guidry; four brothers, Allison, Dewey, Lawrence and Mike Dartez; and three sisters, Ethel Rose Gaspard, Gertie Dupont and Ruth Romero.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 1 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, April 7, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
