Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Lloyd John Frederick, 84, who died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services.

He was a member of the American Legion Vermilion Post #29.

He is survived by his wife, Lenora Gouteriez Frederick of Abbeville; two sons, William Frederick and his wife, Rebecca of Judice and Carroll Frederick; one daughter, Karen Frederick Miller and her husband, Joey of Lafayette; grandchildren, Rowena Frederick Stott, Amanda Miller, Alana Miller and Crystal Frederick; great grandchildren, Krisyn Stott, Jenna Stott, Aubreigh Miller, Kane Frederick and Kinzley Frederick; and brother, Angelas Frederick, Jr. of Erath.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelas Frederick, Sr. and Anna Fletcher Frederick; and son, Eddie Frederick.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
