Judy Landreneau Walls

March 16, 1938 — April 12, 2011

Kaplan—Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Kaplan Baptist Church honoring the life of Judy Landreneau Walls, 73, who died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.

She is survived by four children, James Walls and his wife, Carla of Greensboro, Maryland, Brenda Walls of Kaplan, Katherine "Kathy" Walls of Lake Arthur, and Michael Walls and his wife, Jessica of Kaplan; seven grandchildren, Jessica Walls, Jennifer W. Trego and Joshua Walls, all of Delaware, Chad Hebert of Kaplan, Sara LeDoux of Moss Bluff and Katelyn Walls and Monique Walls of Kaplan; four great grandchildren, twins, Jorgia and Jaiden Walls of Delaware, Bentley C. Williams of Moss Bluff, Marlie A. Hebert of Kaplan, and one expected soon in Delaware; and two sisters, Helen Courtland of Kaplan and Maydel Sheppard of Orange, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, George E. Walls Jr. in 1995, her parents, Elliard and Elina Landreneau; brother, Jesse Landreneau; and three sisters, Hester Thibodeaux, Isabelle Reed, and Bernice Guillory.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Kaplan Baptist Church, 400 N. Trahan Avenue, on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 10 a.m. until services.
