Beverly Ann Thibodeaux Broussard

October 24, 1936 — May 11, 2007

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 14, 2007 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Beverly Ann Thibodeaux Broussard, 70, who died May 11, 2007 at an Abbeville Hospital. She will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. William Blanda officiating the services.
Mrs. Broussard was a loving wife and dear friend to many that knew her. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and St. Anns Altar Society.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Greene Broussard of Abbeville; a brother, Leeward J. and wife Betty A. Thibodeaux of Abbeville; and a sister, Mamie Thibodeaux Cormier and husband Billy of Erath.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nudes “Pete” and Nelia Leleux Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers include Keith Melebeck, Dr. Emile Broussard, Andy Young, Guy Thibodeaux, Ray Nolan and Stern Cormier. Honorary Pallbearers are Donald “Bill” Broussard and Kal Cormier.
Gift Bearers will be Beth Melebeck and Jodie Nolan. Readers include Carla Primeaux and Charles Sonnier. Music will be provided by Tommy Guidry, organist, and Elizabeth Edwards, vocalist.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Sunday, May 13th from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; and resume Monday, May 14th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
