Ronald Bossley

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. Scott DesOrmeaux officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bossley, Mike Zeringue, Justin Zeringue, Jon Bares, Luke Bossley and Seth Guilbeaux.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Bossley and wife Irma of Abbeville, and Joseph Bossley of Abbeville; three daughters, Sharon Guilbeaux and husband Richard of Meaux, Deborah Bares and husband Michael of New Iberia, Mona Zeringue and husband Mike of Lafayette; fourteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Bossley of Johnstown Colorado; brother-in-laws whom he cherished, Brad Broussard of Henry, Jerry Broussard of St. Amant, and Kim Broussard of Abbeville; sister-in-law Belle Crinklaw of Roseburg Oregon
He was preceded in death by wife, Freddie Ann Broussard Bossley; father, Woodrow Bossley; mother, Florence Bossley Prevost.
Mr. Bossley was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served as a corpsman. He retired with Unocal.
He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. His presence will be deeply missed.
The family would like to extend a special heart felt appreciation to our family-in-care Dr. Luis Meza, Mrs. Billie, Natalie, Shawnette, and the incredible nursing staff on the 4th floor at Lafayette General.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, May 2, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m by Deacon Cody Miller.; Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
