Claude Dudley "Spike" Kennedy

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Claude Dudley Kennedy, 65, who died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Broussard Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda Saltzman Kennedy of Kaplan; four sisters, Barbara Miller of Kaplan, Rebecca Miller of Oklahoma, Jackie Gaspard of Kaplan and Vanessa Choate of Kaplan; one sister-in-law, Barbara Schexneider of Kaplan; two brothers, Nolan Ledet of Kaplan and Obray Trahan Jr. of Leauge City, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Patrick and Preston Saltzman, both of Kaplan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude William Kennedy and the former Dorothy Kershaw.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.; Wednesday, May 18, from 8 a.m. until services.
