Funeral
services will be held Thursday,
May 24, 2007 at a 3:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial at St.
Mary Magdalen Catholic Church
honoring the life of Etienette
Bourque Faulk, 99, who died
May 22, 2007 at Abbeville
General Hospital.
She will be laid to rest in St.
Paul Cemetery with Reverend
William Blanda officiating the
services.
She is survived by three sons,
Jesse Faulk of Abbeville, Sidney
Faulk of Abbeville and Melvin
Faulk of Perry; two daughters,
Rosita Sonnier of Jeanerette and
Edma Romero of Youngsville;
two brothers, Gladu Bourque of
Lafayette and Raeul Bourque of
New Iberia; twenty-five
grandchildren and numerous
great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Angeus Faulk;
her parents, Ophelias Bourque
and the former Odelic
Desormeaux; one son, Emery
Faulk; one daughter, Hazel
Allen; one brother, Etienne
Bourque; and two sisters, Estelle
Dore and Rita Romero.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Wednesday, May 23rd from 3:00
p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a
rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;
Thursday, May 24th from 9:00
a.m. until 2:45 p.m. when the
procession will depart for the
church.
