Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Raywood James Hebert, 67, who died Friday, May 20, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Brenda Lee Hebert of New Iberia; five sons, Christopher Hebert and his wife Jamie of Youngsville, Jason Hebert and his wife Ashley of Loreauville, Travis Hebert of New Iberia, Bryan Hebert of New Iberia and Todd Hebert and his wife Vera of Church Point; four daughters, Katherina Hebert of New Iberia, Gina Hebert of New Iberia, Rachel Hebert and her husband Chad Castille of Church Point and Susan Hebert of Church Point; one sister, Joan Hebert of Forked Island; three brothers, Pervis Hebert of Abbeville, Jake Hebert of Cow Island and Wilmer Hebert of Lafayette; and eleven grandchildren and one great granchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Severin and Amy Hebert; and one sister, Laura Mae Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Sunday, May 22, from 8 a.m. until services.
