Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Clent Dale Bourque, 49, who died Monday, May 23, 2011 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Bourque, Matthew Simon, Cody Castille, Bryan Bourque, David Simon and Craig Blanc. Honarary pallbearers will be Aidan Hargrave and Cameron Singer.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marla Bourque of Kaplan; his son, Mitchell Bourque and his wife, Tracy of Abbeville; two daughters, Abby Singer and her fiance, Cody Castille of Kaplan and Ashley Bourque of Kaplan; two grandchildren, Aidan Hargrave and Cameron Singer; his twin brother, Bryan Bourque and his wife, Hilda of Cow Island; his sister, Lynette and her husband, David Simon of Cow Island; and his stepsister, Judy Hargrave of Youngsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alby Bourque and the former Louella Mouton; and one brother, Michael Bourque.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, May 26 from 8 a.m. until services.
