Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Leighton Anthony Theriot, 31, who died Monday, May 23, 2011. He will be laid to rest at Broussard Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

He is survived by his fiancee, Heather Cormier of Kaplan; one son, Leighton Anthony Theriot II of Kaplan; one daughter, Lundon Gael Lougon of Gueydan; his father, John Theriot and his wife, Sandy of Kaplan; maternal grandfather, Royal Hebert and his wife, Debbie of Kaplan; maternal grandmother, Jane and her husband, Don Robiceaux of Franklin; one sister, Cassie Ann Theriot of Kaplan; two stepsisters, Kalia Cormier of Gueydan and Alex Silva of Killeen, Texas; one brother, Nicholas John Theriot of Kaplan; and two stepbrothers, Jarrod Snell of Shreveport and Bryan Snell of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Gale Hebert; and paternal grandparents, John Theriot and the former Leah Saltzman.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, May 27, from 8 a.m. until services.
