Eunice Landry Gaspard

June 30, 1908 — June 3, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Eunice Landry Gaspard, 102, who died Friday, June 3, 2011 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by two sons, Hubert Gaspard and his wife, Velta and Rudy Gaspard and his companion, Gay Harrington, all of Kaplan; one daughter, Isabelle Meaux of Port Sulphur, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 31 great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Gaspard; five brothers, Donate, Alvin, Ivy, Rudy, and Lambert Landry; six sisters, Alice Foreman, Mary Guidry, Emua Gaspard, Maimae Richard, Rose Boline, and Anise Guidry; three grandsons, Paul J. Meaux, Maxie M. Meaux, and Raymond J. Meaux; and one great granddaughter, Cassidy B. Elliott.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 2 p.m. until services on Monday, June 6, 2011. A rosary will be prayed Sunday evening at 6 p.m.
