She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Buchanan, Brett Buchanan, Ryan Rabalais, Seth Gastal, Joshua Duhon and Kyle Frith. Honorary pallbearers will be Leighton Rabalais, Ashton Rabalais, Shay LeBouef, Tim Broussard, Quentin Winch, Spencer LeBouef and Mark Devenport.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. To those who knew she was kind hearted, loving and a giving woman. She will be greatly missed by many. Our comfort comes in knowing she is finally at peace.
She leaves her memory to be cherished to her husband of six years, Gerald Gastal of Abbeville; her parents, Wilton & Eula Lene' of Abbeville; her only sister, Phyllis and husband Jim Buchanan of Lafayette; her children, Jill and husband Ryan Rabalais Abbeville, Blaine Dugas of Pensacola, Florida and Joy and husband Spencer LeBouef of Abbeville; two step sons, Gerrett Gastal of Lake Charles and Seth Gastal and wife Amber of Abbeville; grandchildern, Leighton and Ashton Rabalias, Skylar Dugas, and Shay and Ellen LeBouef.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eloi and Annice Lene' and Ophe (Man) and Mary Hebert Choate.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, June 9, 2011 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, June 10, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until time of sevices.
