She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Scott DesOrmeaux officiating the services.
She is survived by her one son, Jeffery Faulk and daughter-in-law, Mildred Faulk; four grandchildren, Nancy Canan and her husband Kenny, Jeffery Faulk, Jr. and his wife Kellie, Lori Piazza and Tony Faulk and his wife, Angela; great grandchildren, Jennifer Breaux, Jonathan Breaux and his wife Kristel, Brooke Fergerson and her husband Kyle, Justin Faulk and his wife Lauren, Kacie Piazza, Tyler Faulk, Hannah Faulk, Sarah Faulk, Kali Broussard, Jarod Faulk and Nathan Faulk; and great great grandchildren, Kilah Fergerson and Tucker Faulk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Faulk; mother, Pamela C. Faulk; father, Alexis Faulk; brothers, Walter Faulk and Whitney Faulk; grandson-in-law, Joseph Breaux; and great great grandchildren, Mary Alice Credeur, Gabriella Josephine Credeur and Grace Marie Breaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, June 17, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice of Acadiana, especially Leah Mergist, Brianna Francis, Mark Broussard, Jill Yates, Leslie Istre, Mandy Benoit, and Claire Lapoint. Also they would like to thank her caregivers Andry Fontenot and Nancy Canan.
