Eunice C. Buford

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Eunice C. Buford, 79, who died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by four sons, Adam Buford Jr. of Houma, Harold Buford of Youngsville, Noah Buford of Kaplan, and James Buford of Church Point; four daughters, Lois Buford of Erath, Mary Buford of Kaplan, Lena Marceaux of Abbeville, and Grace Lacoste of Abbeville; one sister, Rose Vicnair of Henderson; forty-two grandchildren; seventy-three great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam "Sam" Buford Sr.; one daughter, Marie Touchet; her parents, Tony Campisi and the former Christine Gaspard; three sisters, Ella Jane Guidry, Eve Lavergne and Isabelle Guidry; one brother, Noah Campisi; and two grandchildren, Brandi and Hunter Girard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, June 28, from 8 a.m. until services
