Patrick "Bert" Benoit

Patrick Benoit, 50, died on June 04, 2007 at Abbeville General Hospital. A rosary was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 07, 2007 at Vincent Funeral Home. He was laid to rest in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath. Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville conducted the funeral arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Simon Benoit of Abbeville; three sons, Patrick Benoit, Jr. of Abbeville, Ray Benoit of Abbeville and Leonard Benoit and his wife Casey of Abbeville; three daughters, Elzina LeBlanc and her husband Shane of Broussard, Eirena Benoit and her husband William Estelle of Lydia and Amanda Brailey and her husband Roland of Abbeville; his mother, Eirena Marie Vincent Benoit of Crowley; two brothers, Lawrence Benoit and his wife Loretta of Jennings and David Benoit of Crolwey; a friend whom he thought as a brother, Glenn Toups, Jr. of Abbeville; seven sisters, Joann Perkins, Christine and her husband Johnny Perrodin of Crowley, Brenda and her husband Kenneth Clostio of Abbeville, Judy Benoit of Crowley, Edna Benoit of Crowley, Charlotte Louviere and her husband Jimmy and Kitty Deshotel and her husband Troy of Crowley; his mother-in-law, Barbara Simon and five grandchildren, Hunter Gauge Benoit, Tyler J. Romero, William P. Estelle, Jr., Jacob P. Estelle and Roland Brailey, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Benoit; and his father-in-law, Clarence Simon, Sr.
