Pecan Island—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at Pecan Island Baptist Church honoring the life of Donnie Dale Alexander Koch, 63, who died Friday, July 15, 2011 at her residence in Houma. She will be laid to rest at the Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend Nick Peters officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Alvin R. Koch of Houma; two sons, William Thomas Koch of Cameron and Thurman Ray Koch Sr. and his wife, Alyse of Carrollton, Mississippi; one daughter, Tonya Lynn Smith and her husband, Timothy of Houma; one sister, Cheryl Darlene Skipper and her husband, Michael of Cameron; two brothers, Timothy Dwayne Alexander and his wife, Stacey of Lockport and Paul Denam Alexander and his wife, Crystal of Cameron; grandchildren, Lauren Duhon, Lance Koch, Leykon Koch, Peyton Koch, Triston Smith, Trace Smith, Trinity Smith, Thurman Ray Koch Jr., and Alexander Michael Koch; and one great grandchild, Aiden Duhon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman Lotis Alexander and Edith "Bo" Alexander; her in-laws, Ray and Bergna Koch; and a niece, Rebel Abbott.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pecan Island Baptist Church,Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 6 p.m. until services Monday, July 18, 2011.
