Mary Ruth Mouton Monceaux

November 6, 1945 — July 16, 2011

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at a 3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Mary Ruth Mouton Monceaux, 65, who died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Monceaux of Kaplan; three sons, Onezieme Mouton and his wife, Toni of Lafayette, Shane Perrin of Kaplan, and Kyle Monceaux, also of Kaplan; two daughters, Angie Camel and her husband, Andre of Kaplan and Kristie Monceaux of Scott; one sister, Cathy Sagrera and her husband, Lynn of Esther; seven grandchildren, Onezieme Mouton, Mallory and Morgan LeMaire, Laurel, Olivia and James Camel, and Mela Sonnier; and two great grandchildren, Brooks Bertrand and Layne Menard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd O. Mouton and Ruth Frederick Mouton.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 18, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
