Marie Hilda Green Guidry

September 16, 1924 — July 15, 2011

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2011 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Marie Hilda Green Guidry, 86, who died Friday, July 15, 2011 at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

She is survived by her three daughters, Ruth Lamell, Lena Gibson and Joyce Anderson all of Fairfield, California; step son, Lloyd Guidry of Hitchcock, TX; two brothers, Clarence Green and Edward Green; three sisters, Beatrice Boudreaux, Lena Viltz and Joyce Richard; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Edwin Guidry; parents, Honore Green and Mary O'Brien Green; sister, Della Green; three brothers, Austin Green, Lodgie Gilbert and Felix Gilbert, Jr.; step daughter, Audrey Guidry and a step son, John H. Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
