Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2011 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church in Esther, honoring the life of Zelda Anna Hebert, 89, of Abbeville who died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at St. James Cemetery with Fr. Glenn Meaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Hebert of Abbeville and Bonnie Lou Hebert Broussard of Mouton Cove; sisters, Julia Couvillon of Cow Island, Margret Mouton of Lafayette and Rose Ann Guidry of Lafayette; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovelace Hebert; father, Joseph Obrey Apple; mother, Amanda Hebert Apple; grandson Clint Joseph Lemaire; sister, Elva Apple Birkelbach and a brother, Joseph Vernon Apple.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a roasry to be recited at 7:00 p.m. and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
