Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Henry Miller, 81, who died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at an Abbeville hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Pallbearers will be David Guillory, Johnny Seitz, Michael Russell, Raymond Guillory, Roger Barton and Joey Barton. Honorary pallbearer will be his godchild, Floyd Guillory.

He is survived by his sons, Gene Harris of Philadelphia, PA and Jerry Ragan of California; daughter, Meleissa Bernhart of Abbeville; sisters, Jean Seitz of Beaumont, TX and Betty Russell of Center, TX; twelve grandchildren, Terri Rhodes, April Ragan, Ronnie Brown, Brian Harris, David Harris, Jody Vinas, Amy Hayes, Tamera Kinnaman, Christopher Rutledge, Autumn Goins, Amber Berryhill and Justin Rutledge; and nineteen great grandchildren, Jacob Rhodes, Shannon Rhodes, Gianna Ragan, Aubrey Berryhill, Morgan Rutledge, Ashlyn Berryhill, Baileigh Goins, McKenzie Rutledge, Harleigh Goins, Presleigh Goins, Adrianna Berryhill, Jenson Rutledge, Justine Rutledge, Kason Rutledge, Calista Kinnaman, Jayden Kinnaman, Khloe Kinnaman, Alayna Hayes and Jacob Hayes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Miller; parents, Joseph and Natalie Cormier Miller; son, Howard Ragan; daughter, Lorraine Brown; sisters, Grace Barton and Ruth Trahan; and brother, Marion Miller.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services, with a rosary to be prayed at 11:00 a.m.
