Lorraine Baudoin Broussard

March 7, 1925 — August 3, 2011

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Lorraine Baudoin Broussard, 86, who died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Camelot of Broussard Assisted Living.

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Lorraine was a native of Abbeville and a resident of Lafayette most of her life.

She is survived by her sister, Rose Baudoin Abshire; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Maxcey Broussard, Sr.; parents, John Baudoin and the former Marie Alleman; brothers, Magnes Baudoin and Steve Baudoin; and sisters, Odile Landry and Mabel Baudoin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
