Alice Garrett Hebert

February 5, 1917 — June 20, 2007

Funeral services will be held at 10:00
a.m. Friday, June 22, 2007 at
Vincent Funeral Home of
Abbeville honoring the life of
Alice Garrett Hebert, 90, who
died June 20, 2007 at Eastridge
Nursing Center.
She will be laid to rest at
Woodland Cemetery in Crowley
with Reverend Robert Wells
officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be her
grandchildren.
Alice was a resident of
Crowley for thirty-five years. She
was an avid fisherman who often
fished by herself if she could not
find anyone to go with her.
She is survived by one son,
Thomas A. Hebert, Jr. and his
wife Mary of Charenton; and
their children, Stacy Hebert,
Wendy Higginbotham, Marc
Hebert, Aaron Simoneaux and
Kena Simoneaux; and great
grandchildren, Adam Hebert,
Taylor Simoneaux, Kenan
Gauthier, Margaret
Higginbotham, Madeline
Higginbotham and Lydia
Higginbotham; one daughter, Joy
W. Holley and her husband
David of Abbeville; and their
children, Sandy Simoneaux,
Brady Holley and Barry Holley;
and great grandchildren, Justin
Simoneaux, Aimee Simoneaux,
Skye Holley, Hannah Holley and
Sidney Holley; and "son-in-law,
Alton B. Wiggins; and children,
Sharon Wiggins, Keleta Brown
and Alton B. Wiggins, Jr.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, Alma Garrett and
the former Alice Christie; her
husband, Thomas A. Hebert, Sr;
and a daughter, Mary H.
Wiggins.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Thursday, June 21st from 9:00
a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; and will
continue on Friday, June 22nd
from 8:00 a.m. until time of
services.
