Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2007 at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Eda Touchet Campbell, 94, who died June 20, 2007 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Robert Kurisko officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Karl Comeaux, Harry Dugas, Patrick Sonnier, Darren Racca, Robert Segura and Ronnie Lee. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert "T -Rob" (Lona) Segura of Abbeville and Mrs. Ednes (Verda) Racca of Groves, Texas; one brother, Minos Touchet of Abbeville; five sisters, Mrs. Enola LeBlanc of Kaplan, Mrs. Clement (Eunice) Hebert of Abbeville, Mrs. Norris (Bernice) Duhon of Lake Charles, Mrs. Olan (Edley) Broussard of Lafayette and Mrs. Mavis Mallet of Abbeville; nine grandchildren, Sandy Segura, Joanie Segura, Jan Comeaux, Dana Gaspard all of Abbeville and Lorella Lee, Dolores Greene, Ronnie Racca, Darren Racca and Kaye Racca all of Groves, Texas; five great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jousin and Evelia Gaspard Touchet; her first husband, Ernest Abshire; her second husband, Romeauld Campbell; and one granddaughter, Michelle Segura; and two brothers, Alpha Touchet and Lenes Touchet. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, June 21 st from 1 :00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.; and will continue on Friday, June 22nd from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
