Flavia Touchet Lege

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2011 at a 1:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Flavia Touchet Lege, 88, who died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Jared Lege, Todd Granger, Purvis Bourque, Chip Duhon, Alex Granger and Kaman Lege.

She is survived by her son Kelsie Lege; grandchildren, Laura Dartez Granger and husband Todd of Maurice, Amy Lege Hazelwood and her husband Dan of Greensboro, NC, Jared Lege and his wife Tina of Youngsville and Kaman Lege of Lafayette; and great grandchildren, Amanda G. Duhon and her husband Chip of Forked Island, Emily Granger of Maurice, Alex Granger of Maurice, Joshua Lege of Greensboro, NC, Grace Hazelwood of Greensboro, NC and Noah Hazelwood of Greensboro, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Lege; parents, Leon Touchet and the former Laura Abshire; daughter, Judy Dartez; son, Lesley J. Lege; and sister, Thelma Dartez.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
