Leonida “Nita” Bourque

October 20, 1922 — June 23, 2007

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday June 25, 2007 at Vincent Funeral Home for Leonida “Nita” Bourque, 84, who passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007 at a Lafayette nursing home.
Interment was in the St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville, LA.
Survivors include two sons, Wilson Bourque and wife Darlene of Scott and Nelson and wife Jackie of Cow Island; a daughter, Nelsie Mae Bourque of Alexandria, LA; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Bourque; father, Willie Maturin, mother, Ida Gary; and a sister, Winnie Mae Romero.
Visiting hours were observed at Vincent Funeral Home 209 S. St. Charles, Abbeville Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., and reopen on Monday, June 25, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. till service time.
