She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Paul Mouton, Joshua Racca, Brian Delcambre, Ron Delvisco, Jr., Troy Racca and Jacob Miguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Dipaolantino, Ricky Brassette and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Paul Calvin Mouton and his wife Patricia of Abbeville; three daughters, Maxine Racca and her husband Harold of New Iberia, Priscilla Miguez and her husband Lester of Delcambre, Marlene Delcambre of Lafayette and Cindy Martin and her husband Timothy of Baton Rouge; sister, Velta Broussard of Maurice; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; and fourteen great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ora Mouton; parents, Galvez Trahan and the former Leah Broussard; sisters, Etta Frederick and Lois Dubois; granddaughters, Sandy Racca and Evelyn Racca; and step father, Eloi Hebert.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
Her family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Ricky and Juanita Brassette, Cindy Andrepont and Paramount Hospice, especially Miss Byrd and Felisha for their care and compassion during her time of need.
