Leona Marie Thibodeaux Suire

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Leona “Lee” Marie Thibodeaux Suire, 63, who died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at her residence.

Her brother, Joe Thibodeaux officiating the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Frederick, David LeBlanc, Damon Evans, Kente Charles, Jonathon Lovett and Donald Huval.

She is survived by her three sons, Clifford W. Suire and his wife Jodi of Abbeville and grandson, Jacob Morris Suire, Seth J. Suire and his fiancee Lea Wolf of Breaux Bridge and Ryan E. Suire and his fiancee Sierra Romero and granddaughter, Summer Smith of Abbeville; only daughter, Cynthia A. Suire and her fiance Shannon Comeaux of Abbeville and granddaughter, Gabriella Eve Marie Suire and grandson, Aleksandar Ray Comeaux; three brothers, Phillip Thibodeaux of Lake Charles, Joe Thibodeaux of Lafayette and Paul Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; three sisters, Vergie Huval of Lafayette, Audrey Thibodeaux of Alexandria and Jeanie Dillon of Moss Bluff.

She was preceded in death by her son, Allen Ray Suire, Jr.; parents, Nestor Thibodeaux and the former Mary O. Guidry Armentor; and brothers, James Thibodeaux, Tony Thibodeaux, Bill Thibodeaux and Leon Thibodeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, September 2, 2011 from noon until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
