Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Eulalie Gaspard Trahan, 94, who died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Trahan; her parents, Pierre Gaspard and the former Emelia Menard; three brothers, Alphe, Augustave and Augustina Gaspard; and eight sisters, Amelia Hebert, Edna Leonard, Clara Hebert, Cecile Mareaux, Sevelia Lege, Aurelia Harrington, Emelienne Lege, and Augustine Hargrave.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, September 3, 2011 from 8 a.m. until services.
